Keep the side and back short while playing with the length and texture of your fringe. Keep your fringe at your brows or short depending on your face shape. Consult your hairstylist which cutting is better for your hair texture and quality.
Slick Back
Old school wet hair look, play around to see which side you wish to comb back. The sides remains short. Consult your hairstylist which side you wish to slick back, the length of the top part of your hair.
Edge Cutting
Here's some asian trend with the sides short while keeping part longer. You can try the side short or the fringe shorter while the top of the hair longer. Discuss with some experience hairstylist with deep cut, layering and styling.
Invest in the right products, a budget straightener perm cost as low as $25, wax, clay, hair setting spray, hair dryer.
Tip* Blow all your hair dry thoroughly before using perm, otherwise nasty smoke will come out like this youtube. Do not apply wax/clay before perm too.
Pink . Blue . Printed Tee . Polo Tee . Cardigan . Cropped pants . Skinny tie
I bet many guys have so many printed tee with words or pictures on it, the famous polo with number 3 on the sleeve *ahem, and cardigan. Many guys have fold up or cropped shorts above the knee. That was what men been wearing mostly in 2008 here in Singapore. So what are we going to expect for 2009? This is my forecast based on runways and read ups/observation.
Checkered is going to be big next year, small print checkered, big print, colorful, monotoned, long sleeved, short sleeve, vest, as long as its checkered.
Purple will be 2009 color for woman and men. Check out G2000 mens, they are already ahead for next year. Grey will be 2009 mens color. Different shades of grey combined with white/black.
Purple is the New Blue
Ok these Purple Tee is just a joke, found it from http://www.thepurplestore.com
You can find similar purple shades of executive wear from G2000 which blends well in the night. Purple matches with brown, pink, red, blue, navy, black, white
Oriental elements may be influencing retail in Balinese, Malaysian, Indian culture, but I dont think will affect men style much
Feminine is a trend for menswear 2009 that's not going to work. Needless to elaborate, just view the runways
"Every person, man and woman, has a percentage inside them that is masculine and feminine," states Domenico Dolce. "To be able to balance the humanity in all people is the most beautiful thing."
To make a woman smart and masculine has already been successful but to make a man sexy and sensual is what so many designer has been trying so hard for the society to accept. TRY HARDER
Tuxedo is popular in runways but obviously is not going to be in Singapore where the climate doesn't allow us to. Therefore to get the look, a vest will replace that look. A 2 button brown vest with a purple long-sleeve shirt does the trick for a dinner suit. A grey vest with white Tee for dating is casual smart too.
